Nationals Sign Supplemental Pick Goodwin

The Washington Nationals have agreed to terms with No. 34 pick Brian Goodwin on a bonus of $3 million  according to Jon Heyman's twitter. The outfielder was committed to go to South Carolina before signing.

Goodwin was considered one of the top athletes in the draft with the potential for 5 above-average or better tools. He spent his freshman season at North Carolina before transferring to Miami-Dade Community College for the 2010 campaign.
